On being a mom

You know you are a mom when you find a tooth on your car seat, you pick it up, and wonder who's it is. When you get to play ping pong everyday with your 12 year old as part of your job description. When kids moan when you say that you have to go to the bathroom because it is time that I can't be with them. When you push the button to close the garage door, and it will never close because there is a bike, scooter, skate, or something in the way. When there are fingerprints all over the stainless steel appliances 10 minutes after you cleaned them. When you go in the bathroom and it isn't flushed and there isn't toilet paper in it (uugghh). When there is toothpaste all over the bathroom sink and counters. When you hear the words I love you a hundred times a day. All these things have happened today, and many more. I love it. heather,
you are such a great mom!!! you're always having fun with your kids and i love how you are all so loving and how you just enjoy and treasure eachother. i especially love how you and dave teach the gospel to them. i loved the blog that talked about jacob going to read his scriptures and then he said he repented of something--so amazing and special that he can share that with you and that you can share it with the world on your blog spot!!! :) your blog spot is so uplifting and fun!!!! but why i am i surprised? that is how you have always been. that's what made me fall in love with you. :) i have been on your sisters' websites. so fun!!!!!! i feel like i know them through you and i enjoyed reading their entries--they are actually talented writers! they are actually very talented in many areas! i love how they all use the word "cozy." your dad says some funny things! i'll let you go! love, nancy
